HRL Paddlefest will host it's first annual kayak fishing tournament on High Rock Lake. Paddlers will launch from Camp Walter Johnson at 7:00 am. Flat Swamp Bridge on Hwy 8 will serve as a boundary line for the event. Check in time with catches will be 1:00 P.M. Paddlers should have a digital camera with them at launch time. Entry Fee for the Event will be $20.00 and may be paid at the event. The required "on water particpation fee" will be waved for those wanting to participate in other Saturday Activities. Entry fees may be required for some activities such as the canoe/kayak races and cardboard boat race.

Flat Swamp Creek on High Rock Lake
HRL Paddlers paddled the area anglers will be fishing. The conditions should be pretty similar to those you see here. There will be less pollen and water temperatures should be in the 70's.
